These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Adept Automations' services, which are subscription-based support solutions designed to help maintain, secure, and optimize your home automation setup. By subscribing to our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Adept Automation is a subsidiary of Jupiter Group LLC.
1. Scope of Service
Home Automation Support: We provide assistance for maintaining and configuring your home automation system, including updates, device compatibility recommendations, and best practices for security and automation.
Software Updates: As part of your subscription, we manage and install updates for your home automation platform to ensure compatibility and stability.
Security Maintenance: We conduct regular security assessments and apply security updates to maintain a safe home automation environment.
Device Compatibility Assistance: Our team offers guidance on selecting compatible devices and assists with initial configuration as needed.
Note: Adept Automation does not develop, own, or sell home automation software. Our services are solely for support and maintenance.
2. Eligibility for Service
By subscribing to our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to these Terms.
Services are provided for personal, non-commercial use.
3. Subscription and Payment Terms
Subscription Plans: We offer a variety of subscription plans with different levels of support. By selecting a plan, you agree to pay the subscription fees associated with that plan.
Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed on a monthly/annual basis. Payments are processed through Stripe, and we will notify you before each billing cycle.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account. No refunds will be issued for the remainder of the billing period.
4. Service Limitations
Local Network Requirement: Certain support functions may require access to your local network. By subscribing, you consent to limited remote access (if necessary) for updates or troubleshooting.
Device Compatibility: While we strive to ensure compatibility, we cannot guarantee all devices will integrate smoothly with your home automation system due to varying specifications by manufacturers.
Third-Party Add-ons: We may assist with third-party integrations or community-developed add-ons; however, support for these components is provided “as is,” without warranty of functionality or compatibility.
5. Data Privacy and Security
Privacy Commitment: We prioritize your data security and privacy. All interactions and access to your home automation system are conducted per our Privacy Policy.
Data Collection: We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information from your automation setup beyond what is necessary to provide our services.
Third-Party Services: We may help integrate third-party services, but we recommend reviewing their privacy policies, as we do not control third-party data handling.
6. Disclaimers
No Warranty: Our services are provided “as-is” without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we cannot guarantee error-free performance in our recommendations, software updates, or support.
Limitation of Liability: Adept Automation and Jupiter Group LLC are not liable for any damages, data loss, or disruptions arising from home automation software or device malfunctions, including but not limited to data loss, security breaches, or device compatibility issues.
Third-Party Software and Devices: Our support covers third-party home automation platforms and devices. Adept Automation is not responsible for issues originating from these products or their manufacturers.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
Software License and Ownership: Any home automation software is governed by its own license terms. We do not claim ownership over this software and only provide support and maintenance services.
8. Termination of Service
Termination by You: You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing us at info@adeptautomationsolutions.com . No refunds will be issued for the remainder of the billing cycle.
Termination by Us: We reserve the right to terminate your subscription if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue services. If terminated, we will provide notice and attempt to assist with a transition plan.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services or for legal reasons. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
